Volunteer Opportunities

• Event Setup & Breakdown: Arrange tables, chairs, decorations, activity stations, and supplies, and assist with cleanup.
• Registration & Guest Services: Welcome families; assist with guest check-in, registration verification, wristbands, and directions.
• Family Activities & Entertainment: Support children's games, arts and crafts, entertainment, and activity stations.
• Food & Refreshment Service: Organize serving stations and help distribute food and beverages at events.
• Community Outreach: Distribute flyers, share program information, and connect community members with programs and resources.
• Special Event Support: Assist with holiday programs, seasonal activities, event entertainment, and other special community gatherings.

• Youth Mentorship: Provide encouragement, guidance, positive role modeling, and support through supervised youth activities.
• The Ink Exchange: A pilot in development. Volunteer involvement will be shared after screening, safeguarding, and supervised participation arrangements are confirmed.
• Youth Sports & Double Dutch: A developing youth opportunity. Roles and activity details will be shared when plans, supervision, and requirements are confirmed.
• Educational & Homework Support: Assist with tutoring, literacy, homework, and educational enrichment.
• Summer Meals Program: Ask about potential support with meal logistics for future summer programming as plans are confirmed.
• Family Support Programs: Help plan family-centered activities and connect families with community resources as opportunities are confirmed.

Youth-facing assignments may require background checks, screening, and additional training.

• Donation Collection & Sorting: Receive, inspect, categorize, and organize toys, clothing, hygiene products, household goods, and other donations.
• Packing & Preparation: Prepare hygiene kits, giveaway bags, family resource packages, and other supplies.
• Community Distribution: Help prepare and, when confirmed, distribute donated goods, toys, food, and essential resources at planned public events and outreach activities.
• Transportation & Delivery: Ask about approved support with donation pickup, loading, and transport for confirmed activities.
• Storage & Inventory: Help organize storage spaces, track supplies, label merchandise, and prepare inventory for upcoming distributions.
• Donation Drive Support: Assist with planning and organizing community collection drives when arrangements are confirmed.

• Fundraising Volunteers: Assist with fundraising campaigns, donation initiatives, and community giving activities.
• Sponsorship & Business Outreach: Help identify and communicate with businesses interested in sponsoring events, programs, or providing in-kind donations.
• Grant Research & Writing: Ask about approved grant research and documentation support as opportunities are confirmed.
• Professional Skills Support: Share qualified experience in accounting, finance, nonprofit operations, strategic planning, legal services, or other specialized fields.

• Administrative & Virtual Volunteers: Assist with email communications, scheduling, data entry, document organization, and administrative projects.
• Social Media & Marketing Volunteers: Develop social media content, promote community programs, and help expand public awareness.
• Photography & Videography Volunteers: Photograph and record approved foundation events for marketing, documentation, and storytelling while following photo-consent and privacy requirements.
• Graphic Design Volunteers: Assist with creating promotional flyers, brochures, banners, graphics, and other marketing materials.
• Volunteer Coordination: Help communicate with volunteers, organize assignments, confirm schedules, and assist with volunteer staffing.
