Questions? We’ve got answers
Everything you need to know about volunteering with the Tinne Holly Larenas Foundation Inc. If you can’t find your answer, we’re just a message away.
Who can volunteer?
Volunteers of many ages and backgrounds are welcome, including students, professionals, retirees, and families. Some roles have age, availability, or screening requirements, and those are noted on each opportunity.
Does it cost anything to sign up?
No. Creating a volunteer profile and getting matched with opportunities is completely free.
How do I get matched with an opportunity?
Create a profile with your interests and availability. We review every profile and follow up when a suitable opportunity is confirmed.
Can I volunteer remotely?
Confirmed opportunities are currently on-site at event and community locations. If a remote opportunity is ever confirmed, it will be posted in the Volunteer Hub. Please do not count on a remote role being available.
Can my company, school, or group volunteer together?
Absolutely. Visit our Volunteer as a Group page and tell us about your group — we’ll help plan a day of service tailored to you.
Do you help with court-ordered or student community service hours?
We review community-service requests, including student and court-referred hours, as supervised opportunities are confirmed. Availability varies, every request is reviewed manually, and a placement or verification is not guaranteed until the foundation confirms it in writing. Court-referred placements are subject to additional review and screening.
How much time do I need to commit?
It's up to you. Some confirmed roles may be one-time and others recurring — you choose what fits your schedule.
How is my personal information used?
We use your details only to match you with volunteer opportunities and to keep you informed. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
